Conflict with the Regional Office - What to do |

The following procedures will guide appeals of decisions or actions of the DMRS Regional Offices. 1. The person will first make all reasonable efforts to resolve the issue with the Regional Office. 2. If the person is not satisfied with these activities or the response, an appeal may be submitted to the Regional Director. The Regional Director (or designee) may take various steps to resolve the issue. The Regional Director should notify the person of his or her decision within fourteen (14) days of receiving the appeal. 3. If the person is not satisfied with the response from the Regional Director, an appeal may be submitted to the Deputy Commissioner, who should respond to the person within fourteen (14) days of receiving the appeal. The decision of the Deputy Commissioner is final. |
